About Matthew Hale

In 2016, I embarked on a significant journey as the CEO of Modern Acupuncture, alongside my co-founders. This venture followed my earlier role as a key figure in the establishment of The Joint Chiropractic, where I collaborated with John Leonesio, the founder of Massage Envy, to bring the concept to life. During the initial five-year period, our dedication led The Joint Chiropractic to a remarkable transformation: what began with just 8 operational locations blossomed into a network of over 350 active clinics across 25 states, supported by the sale of more than 500 franchise licenses. The culmination of this effort was marked by the company's successful transition to a publicly-traded entity in 2015. Armed with the invaluable experience gained from these accomplishments, I made the decision in 2016 to venture into new territory with the launch of Modern Acupuncture. My conviction in the potential of acupuncture to enhance individuals' well-being is unwavering; this belief has become both the cornerstone of Modern Acupuncture's mission and a personal commitment I proudly uphold.
