Hello! I'm Matthew Heath, a Senior at North Carolina State University studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. My academic and professional journey is defined by a blend of hands-on technical projects and leadership roles. As a Climbing Center Supervisor, I honed my skills in leadership and team management by effectively supervising a team of 22. My focus was on optimizing operational workflows, ensuring safety through regular risk management practices, and resolving conflicts adeptly. This role also allowed me to develop and lead educational programs, enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction. In the realm of technical projects, I successfully constructed, programmed, and developed a remote-controlled car with autonomous and Wi-Fi capabilities over four months. This project sharpened my skills in soldering, embedded software programming, serial communications, IoT, and project management, preparing me for complex engineering challenges. Passionate about both the technical and leadership aspects of engineering, I'm actively seeking a Summer Internship where I can further apply and expand my skills in a dynamic, innovative environment.
