About Matthew Heon

Currently I’m an associate at FirstService Residential Eastern, and Community Manager in the Lifestyle Division with experience in large scale HOA’s and Condominium. I’ve earned and maintain the professional designations, through Community Association Institute, of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM). Additionally, I have earned the Facility Management Professional (FMP) through the International Facility Management Association. Previous to my employment at FirstService Residential, I contributed as portfolio manager at one of New Jersey’s prominent and leading management firms, Taylor Management Company. Prior to joining a management firm as consultant in the spring of 2012, I was co-owner of a residential property management company located in Central New Jersey for 11 years with experience servicing a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from HOA’s and townhomes to large active adult communities. Member of CAI, and IFMA, with commitment to the highest code of professional standards, ethics and integrity and ultimately striving for excellence in knowledge demanded by today's global employers. I value a good management team and aspire toward continuously refreshing to align with current industry standards while furthering the success in the growing community association industry.
