About Matthew Hester

What I enjoy the most about working for Edward Jones is the relationship I have with my clients. My primary focus as a financial advisor is to develop personalized, tailored investment strategies designed to help my clients achieve their long-term financial goals. I accomplish this by partnering with the individuals, families and small businesses I serve and proactively communicating with them about their goals and dreams. It is vital that my clients understand their investments, risks and costs, and the importance of setting goals and working together to help stay on track. Whether you are a first time-investor or an experienced-saver, my goal is to help you. Before joining Edward Jones, I worked for Enterprise Holdings for 13 years, going from an entry-level trainee to area manager. During these 13 years, I led a diverse workforce of over 200 employees, and we served the needs of a diverse customer base across South Texas. This experience taught me how to communicate and collaborate in circumstances requiring solutions for unique clients with unique goals. I am father to three great kids, Kyli (17), Camrin (15) and Leo (4). We are active members in our church, school and community. My family and I love living in the Texas Hill Country, and we enjoy cooking, traveling, exercise and watching movies or playing games together. I serve as an usher at Tree of Life Church, am an active member of the BSB Chamber of Commerce and participate in several volunteer events that serve our community throughout the year. My office is conveniently located just south of the HWY 281 N and 46 intersection in Bulverde, TX; and I offer virtual appointments for existing and new clients.
