I have just completed 24 year service for the British Army and I am now looking for a new start with all the experience that I have gained. For the past 15 years, I have been involved in the management of weaponry, adventure training items and COSHH items. This was my introduction to health and safety in the workplace. I passed my IOSH qualification in October 2015 and this placed me as the Battalion's Health and Safety advisor. For my final 2 years, I managed ammunition for the Battalion. This involved receiving it from an outside source, transporting, accounting for it in line with military policy, storing it within the limits set by the military and Health and Safety Executive laws. As part of my transition to civilian life, I passed my NEBOSH qualification in June 2021.
