About Matthew Holgado

I am a part of FTI Consulting's Forensic & Litigation Consulting (Construction, Projects and Assets) Practice, based out of Madrid in Spain, and with a focus on providing strategic advisory, contract and claims services to our EMEA clients. Our Practice is made up of a diverse team of Experts who are able to tackle some of the most complex issues facing our clients today, in the areas of asset optimisation, decarbonisation, digital change, and dispute resolution. I've spent most of my career working in a strategic commercial and contract advisory capacity across some of the largest infrastructure and construction programmes in Europe and the Middle East, covering rail, aviation, real estate, and utilities sectors. Within these I've undertaken contract management, procurement, claims assessment, and dispute resolution appointments, in addition to programme and project leadership positions within major Client organisations. I am dual qualified in Construction Law and Construction Project Management, with a keen focus on mitigating interface and contract risk in the context of complex projects, and a firm belief that early resolution of adversity drives programme predictability.
