I am a Cybersecurity Analyst at CYVERGANCE.AI, a leading EdTech company that uses artificial intelligence to enhance learning outcomes. In this role, I monitor, research, investigate, and analyze security threats and trends, using various tools and techniques, such as Splunk, Jumpcloud, Zendesk, Wireshark, Nmap, Owasp, and Metasploit. I also perform tasks such as log analysis, machine reimaging, malware/virus removal and analysis, phishing mailbox monitoring and remediation, threat feed monitoring and updating, SIEM tool incident monitoring and dashboard/reporting creation and monitoring, and Active Directory Federation Services in the cloud. I have contributed to a gap analysis project using NIST SP 800-53, Rev 5, NIST SP 800-171/172, and ISO 27001 frameworks, and developed findings remediation plans of actions and milestones, policy and procedure documents, and ST & E activities on the company's EdTech product. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Cyber Operations and Resilience at Boise State University, where I am learning about the principles and practices of cyber defense, cyber offense, cyber law, and cyber policy. I have also completed multiple certifications and courses from Udemy, Coursera, and IBM, such as Google Data Analytics, Google Program Management, IBM Cybersecurity Analyst, and Jumpcloud Core. I have over 10 years of experience working in ever-changing environments, such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where I represented the Medical Center Director during irregular hours and processed administrative issues and communications. I am passionate about cybersecurity and data analysis, and I am motivated to enhance my skills and knowledge and contribute to the cyber domain's protection and improvement.
