About Matthew Kwan

Matthew joined DBS Bank as a Vice President in January 2024. He is a part of the Global Banks team within Financial Institutions Group. He started his career at Citi as part of its inaugural APAC Corporate Bank Analyst programme in June 2018. This included a 6-week stint in New York. His coverage over his 5.5 year stint included a spectrum of Financial Institutions, ranging from banks, insurers, asset managers, sponsors and fintechs. In university, Matthew completed internships with international law firms in London and Singapore. He gained exposure in an array of legal work - from Mergers & Acquisitions and Trusts to Criminal and Civil Litigation. His last role was as a King’s Counsel's Mini Pupil at Lincoln's Inn, London. Outside of work, he writes for fun at Singapore’s leading real estate editorial, Stacked Homes, which has a readership of more than every month.
