As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing and producing high-profile events and ceremonies, I am excited to bring my expertise to the table. With over a decade of experience working in various cultural environments such as Latin America, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North America, I have developed a unique skill set that allows me to create and implement operational policies and procedures that cater to the specific needs of each project. In my recent role as Head of Venues for FIFA 2022 Qatar Opening, Third Place, and Closing Ceremony, I was responsible for integrating with the Q22 / Supreme Committee / FIFA committee members to ensure the successful execution of the creative vision for each of the respective ceremonies. I facilitated all the services required to run multiple ceremonies in a limited timeframe, including procurement and planning of relevant overlays, such as tents, cabins, containers, fencing, and scaffolding, as well as managed HSE monitoring, venue, and security planning. As the Head of Productions and Show Operations for Events and Entertainment at Expo 2020, I managed a team of 20+ staff and crew to deliver events in Dubai Exhibition Center (DEC) Hall 2A theater, Back of House contractor rehearsal rooms and offices, and the EVE compound and workshop area. I created operational policies and procedures in collaboration with EVE staff heads and leads, as well as other Expo 2020 functional areas. Additionally, I managed procurement for multimillion-dirham projects within the DEC to facilitate performance and rehearsal operations of contractors within their respective spaces. In my previous roles, including Rehearsal Venue Manager for the 48th UAE National Day and Lima 2019 Pan American Games, Venue Manager for Palembang 2018 Asian / ParaAsian Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and Stadium Site Manager for 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Ceremonies, I developed and applied operational policies for large-scale ceremonies rehearsals, managed budgets and resources, and worked collaboratively with local and international contractors and staff to ensure the successful execution of events.
