About Matthew Lin
Is $4.5 trillion a year not enough? Why does the US spend so much and have such disparate outcomes? As a Medicaid (government health insurance for the low income) beneficiary and undergraduate junior at the University of Texas at Dallas, I am learning about the misaligned incentives, current institutions, and inertia of US healthcare. Post-college, I would like to leverage this knowledge to make change with provider and patient buy-in. Currently seeking: on-the-ground clinical experiences with ancillary exposure to EHR systems, RCM, health plans, and referrals.
