About Matthew Lockner
I am a newly minted Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear physics; I also hold a master's degree in computer science and one in high-energy physics. I have deep past experience in programming and systems administration, including high performance computing and data visualization; seeking a position in programming and/or systems administration. Recent efforts have focused upon applications of artificial intelligence, neural networks specifically. I can program in a multitude of programming languages: Python, Perl, C/C++, Java, Matlab, and Mathematica to name a few. Proficient in Linux and Windows. Ultimately interested in a work-from-home role that allows me to set my own hours. I write code that works, and I have many references that can attest to that. I would be amenable to a line of work that generally benefits humanity, whatever form that would take.
