About Matthew Malone

Drawing on my background as a military leader, engineer, entrepreneur and business consultant, I have a talent for developing and communicating compelling solutions to international partners. I can navigate both the engineering and business aspects of projects and understand the complexity and value of nuanced products and their realization. After leaving the military, I settled and started a family in Bavaria, Germany. While working as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the automotive industry, I also established a business for intercultural consultancy, strengthening my skills in team building, cross-functional coordination, and technical know-how. Throughout my career I have gained extensive experience in both the federal and private sectors. Having worked in a variety of STEM industries, whether managing infrastructure reconstruction projects in northern Iraq, development from concept to series production within a variety of industries, planning large scale solar energy projects, or engineering at the forefront of innovative technologies, I pride myself on deliver results by developing effective strategies, fostering strong partnerships and maintaining a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. My other passions include spending time with friends and family, general aviation, renewable and sustainable alternatives, wilderness conservation, skiing, alpine climbing and mountaineering.
