About Matthew Mancuso

To provide you some of my background, at Hobart I pursued a B.A. in Architectural studies. I was a 4 year letterman on the football team where I played ofensive tackle. During my tenure, our team won Liberty League Championships and we had the opportunity to compete in 3 Division National Championships. I am humbled to say that being a student-athlete has provided me unique opportunities throughout my collegiate career that many kids may not have. As part of my architectural studies program I was fortunate enough to experience studying abroad in Rome, Italy. This opportunity provided me with new perspective and insight into foreign culture, building development and architectural history. Being a student-athlete has helped me development as a person and strengthen characteristics of a hard work ethic and being detail oriented. I have earned to balance the commitment involved with being a team leader with the demands of an intensive liberal arts curriculum. I also have some experience in the work environment as well. Ive worked at two architectural firms as an intern which has helped me understand the once work environment and the demands it takes to become a successful intern at an architectural firm. I also had a full time position before going to graduate school as a General Contractor. Understanding and working side by side with the architect and client helped my architectural knowledge grow. Accommodating the client while arguing out solutions with the architect was a handful at times but getting the job done and working together peacefully was my main priority. Resume, Portfolios Link:
