About Matthew Mather

As a graduate from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Engineering, I have a strong background in applying engineering principles and analytical skills to solve complex problems and optimize systems. However, I greatly enjoy working with others in a collaborative environment and see my interpersonal skills and professional communication abilities among my most valuable contributions. I most recently worked as a Technical Account Manager at Yardi Systems, where I have been responsible for managing 7 commercial and large business clients and delivering technology solutions that meet their needs and expectations. In my role at Yardi, I have successfully completed numerous implementations and cross-stream projects, using my technical communication and presentation skills to facilitate customer meetings and ensure satisfaction. Previously, I worked as a Technology Transformation PMO Associate at Interac Corp. and a Technical Sales Engineer at Cisco, where I contributed to agile and kanban methodologies, developed and implemented software solutions, and managed a mobile app development project from end to end. I am passionate about learning new technologies and creating value for customers and stakeholders. I believe I can bring unique skills, perspectives and experiences to any team, as well as a collaborative and supportive attitude.
