I’m a tax lawyer with over 18 years of experience helping high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and SMEs navigate complex tax issues. My focus is on providing practical, personalised advice that adds value—whether it’s protecting family wealth, structuring business transactions, or planning for future generations. I work across a wide range of tax areas, but I have particular expertise in: Trusts – Advising on family, discretionary, and unit trusts, tax planning, asset protection and succession strategies. Federal Taxes – Capital gains tax (CGT), including strategies for the main residence exemption, personal services income (PSI) rules, Division 7A, employer obligations and Early Stage Investor Concessions (ESIC). NSW State Taxes – Managing stamp duty, land tax, and payroll tax, with a focus on reducing liabilities through strategic planning. Superannuation – Providing advice on self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), particularly around contributions and compliance, and superannuation guarantee obligations for employers. I like to take a down-to-earth, collaborative approach. Tax can be complicated, but I enjoy working closely with clients to find practical solutions that fit their circumstances. I work closely with accountants, financial advisors, and family offices to provide seamless, holistic advice. I’m passionate about sharing knowledge, and I run monthly tax training sessions for accountants, keeping them up to date on the latest tax developments and strategies. Outside of work, I’m an avid runner, a keen follower of all things football (NRL, AFL, and soccer), and I love spending time with my family.
