About Matthew Micone

I am a young professional passionate and pound of the ever-changing field of study in early childhood education. Through the course of my education I have been placed in practicum in childcare and school board settings in full day kindergarten. I have love working with each unique child in every placement I have been at and learn skills that I carry on over though lifelong learning. Children are a blank slate and with a good educator they will be given the skills and passion to become whoever they want to be. My education has giving me the knowledge of child development and practicum working in the filed by possessing a Degree and Diploma I have the skills and knowledge to successfully work with the diverse and ever changing population on the early childhood filed. My teaching styles incorporate play-based learning, the arts, technology and fitness. All these 4 components are crucial for child to succeed in the world today. My goal is to create confidence in each child I work with so they truly believe they can grow up to become whatever they want to be. Teaching young children to live a healthy lifestyle is crucial goals as the skills they learn in the early years follow them into adulthood. I am willing to learn form everyone I work with, and always open to new ideas in curriculum.
