About Matthew Moor

Matthew Moor is a healthcare economics expert with deep experience in building, implementing, and managing the performance of new and emerging healthcare solutions. Matt serves as the Chief Actuary and Senior Vice President, Market Economics for Navvis – a leading population health company, driving performance in Value-Based Care. In this role, he leads the evaluation of economic opportunity and risk for healthcare transformation initiatives at health systems, physician enterprises, and health plans. Matt leads the team responsible for all financial modeling of health system transformation, including value-based care contract performance, forecasting, financial and operational opportunity analysis, and payer / provider strategies. Prior to Navvis, Matt served as Head Actuary and Vice President, Value-Based Care Analytics at U.S. Renal Care, where he led end-to-end analytics and actuarial functions for the rapidly growing Value-Based Care business. He was on the leadership team that launched the inaugural year of the kidney-focused CMS demonstration program, Comprehensive Kidney Care Contracting (CKCC), in eight markets. Prior to joining U.S. Renal Care, Matt was the Area Vice President, Actuary at CareCentrix, where he built the Post-Acute Care Analytics and Risk Management team from the ground up – overseeing the product performance, analytics, reporting, and risk management functions of the Post-Acute Care product. Earlier in his career, he fulfilled a variety of actuarial and medical economics roles at Aetna and Coventry Health Care. Matt has a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Physics from the University of Delaware. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
