About Matthew Morin

Matt is an accomplished Creative Director with 25+ years of experience in video production and motion graphics. He was a pioneer in interactive media at Spot Interactive during the early 90s, and is an Associate Professor in Digital Media Production at New England Institute of Technology. Currently, Matt leads as Creative Director at Johnny Animation Inc, a top-tier motion graphics and video production company. His client list includes 20th Century Fox, Brown University, Sharp Electronics, Swiss Army, American Power Conversion, The Discovery Channel, Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses, Blount Fine Foods, and more. Beyond his corporate success, Matt is an award-winning filmmaker, notably recognized in the Providence 48 Hour Film Project competition. An influential industry figure, Matt is on the Board of Directors for the RI Radio & Television Hall of Fame, and a member of the Massachusetts Mac Users Group, the National Association of Broadcasters, and has been featured in Moviemaker Magazine. Most recently he created over 20 minutes of motion graphics & animation for the documentary Blood & Watershed as well as production design and animation for a live production of Alice in Wonderland presented by Turning Pointe Dance Studio in Cape Cod, MA. As Associate Professor, Matt teaches courses in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Lighting and Digital Cinematography, as well as conducting corporate training workshops at the esteemed Maine Media Workshops in Camden, Maine.
