I am a Mitacs Postdoctoral Research Fellow working in partnership with Aspire Food Group. I am studying how to leverage thermal biology to optimize cricket rearing. Specifically, I am interested in how temperature influences feeding and metabolic expenses related to insect growth. I am broadly interested in agricultural entomology, with 3 years of experience in integrated pest management protecting food crops from insects and 2+ years of experience in insect production systems to produce food. I have a passion for teaching and generating public interest in entomology.
