I have been writing code since I was in high school in the late 90's. Where ever I went I was the resident "techie" and used by knowledge of computer software and hardware to improve peoples lives, from tutoring retirees on their latest tech acquisition to writing scripts to ease colleges job. I joined the U.S. Army in order to serve my country post 9/11 and to take advantage of the Montgomery GI Bill in order to pay for college. After leaving the Army I worked my way through UCSB's Computer Engineering program completing my Bachelors, Masters and PhD. Also I can play 6 songs on the guitar.
