Currently enrolled at the University of Calgary for occupational health and safety and looking to peruse a Career that I am extremely Passionate about. My core values in safety rest in firmly believing everyone should go home from work the way they showed up. Safety experience includes, working on a joint safety Committee with Canadian pacific railway. Helped establish a working JSA program with KMC mining and heavy industries, payed special attention to their working at heights and rigging programs. Relevant safety skills include, Rail Safety, Workplace Safety, Site Inspections, fire safety, working at Heights, JSA implementation and development, FLRA review and implementation. Experienced Welder and iron worker with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Skilled in MCAW, FCAW, MAW welding process. Oxy fuel cutting and Fabrication experience, working at heights, connecting and bolting up heavy iron, Heavy Equipment maintenance including welding cracked frames, wear plate removal and replacement and hard surfacing, Rail car maintenance, air brake tests, service and replace air brake components, rail car inspection all in accordance with AAR. Management skills includes, self motivated, excellent at communication, strong team building, efficient time management, ability to work under pressure.
