About Matthew Nitsch

My name is Matthew Nitsch. I graduated from Lakeland University in December of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in computer science along with a minor in business administration and also graduated from Lakeshore Technical College in May of 2021 with an associates degree as an IT-Network Specialist. A majority of my past work experiences have been at IT help desks which have helped me to grow my skills in IT. I have a great passion for IT and enjoy learning more about it and assisting others with my knowledge in this field. Outside of the classroom, I have been involved in several clubs and organizations that have allowed me to express my interests and become a better leader. As the president of the student government at Lakeshore Technical College, I led meetings for all the other student organizations and represented the student body on decisions being made by the school. I also was governor for Lakeshore Technical College in the Wisconsin Student Government where I, with my fellow governors from the other WTCS schools, spoke on behalf of the students of the WTCS to senators and representatives, advocating for more funding as well as pushing for 2-year degrees to be accepted by the UW system, thus making 4-year degrees far more attainable. Off-campus, I have spent a great deal of time working on my own personal computer. Finding new ways to use computers, adapt/customize them, and work on improving them are activities that greatly interest me.
