As a Clinical Informatics Specialist at Carilion Clinic, I leverage my 9+ years of experience as an Epic Application Coordinator and a Certified Medical Assistant to support and optimize the use of electronic health records (EHR) across various clinical settings. I am Epic Certified in Ambulatory and MyChart, and have a strong understanding of the Epic Foundation System through the February 2023 upgrade. My mission is to enhance the quality and efficiency of clinical care delivery by providing EHR training, troubleshooting, and implementation for providers and end users. I also assist with quality payment program attestation, clinical and security support, file maintenance, and claim management. Additionally, I have expertise in NextGen EHR, immunization workflow, physician documentation, and meaningful use compliance. I am passionate about using informatics to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
