About Matthew Obrien

With 10 years of experience at reputable metro and rural clinics, I am delighted to establish INOMO and deliver my own vision of healthcare. I’m passionate about using evidence based medicine to treat and educate my patients how to best maintain their health. INOMO treatment appointments feature a multi-modal approach including manipulative hands on therapy, an exercise and/or rehabilitation prescription, as well as general education tailored to individual needs. As Osteopathy is wholistic in nature, I’m able to treat and manage people of all ages and a variety of conditions. In particular, I enjoy helping patients through the challenges that life throws their way, whether that is as ambitious as running a marathon, or as simple as spending time with the grand kids pain-free. Mentors have played such a strong role in the growth as a professional and an individual that when not working in my practice, I enjoy my role lecturing and mentoring the next generation of Osteopaths at Victoria University. This also extends to the Osteo Sports Network and looking to develop my own manipulation workshops/CPD events. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy keeping active and playing a variety of sport. I’ve been lucky enough travel to some of the most beautiful spots around the world, all in the pursuit of the perfect day of outdoor activity. However, I also love discovering Melbourne’s next great coffee place and having a yarn with family and friends.
