About Matthew Ochs

With over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, I am a passionate and creative chef with Gastamo Restaurant Group, by ensuring the highest quality and standards of food and beverage production, presentation, and service. I am also an expert in banquets and catering, designing and executing menus and events for a variety of occasions, from weddings and corporate functions to festivals and fundraisers. I have a strong background in culinary arts and hotel management, having graduated from Scottsdale Culinary Institute and Montana State University. I have also worked as a chef at Acreage, a cider house and eatery, and as a CDC at Ghost Box Pizza, a pizza delivery concept. I have developed and honed my skills in food service, banquets, hospitality, menu development, kitchen management, inventory control, cost control, food safety, and staff training and supervision. I am driven by the mission of creating memorable and satisfying dining experiences for customers, using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. I value teamwork, innovation, and excellence, and I enjoy collaborating with and supporting my colleagues and partners in the culinary and cider community. I am always eager to learn new techniques, cuisines, and trends, and to share my knowledge and passion with others.
