About Matthew Pappas

Since 2018 I've been in the role of Director of Operations for CPTSD Foundation. We specialize in creating programs and resources for survivors of complex trauma. Our programs are all designed through a trauma-informed lens and designed to encourage, validate, and equip survivors with skills and support they can use every day in their recovery from trauma. As Director, I oversee all daily operations of the organization, including: New program development, coordinating projects, memberships, team management, web design and implementation, and also serve as interim leader for our flagship program, Daily Recovery Support. As a Certified Life Coach and NLP Master Practitioner, I specialize in overcoming anxiety and trauma survivor coaching. Anxiety is full of manipulative tricks and lies that hold you back, keep you stuck, and feeling miserable and hopeless. There is power inside you already, and you can unlock it to break free from the chains of anxiety! As a trauma informed coach, I provide a safe, validating, and encouraging atmosphere both in individual coaching and group settings, with an emphasis on helping you discover your own solutions and achieve the goals and dreams that you never thought were possible before. My experience as a blogger, podcaster, and web designer in the field of mental health, as well as my education has helped me thrive in this role as Director. Our goal as an organization is always first and foremost to be a beacon of hope for survivors of complex trauma and raise awareness for CPTSD.
