About Matthew Phillips

As a diesel technician at Frito-Lay, I troubleshoot, repair, and replace all required DOT items to ensure the fleet vehicles are back on the road. I have 4.5+ years of experience in mechanics and maintenance, including 3+ years as a maintenance chief and shop chief in the United States Marine Corps. In my previous roles, I used Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) to manage vehicle reports, coordinate preventive maintenance, and brief the battalion leaders on motor transport operations and readiness. I also disassembled, maintained, and re-assembled engines, starters, alternators, differentials, transmissions, and other motor transport items. Additionally, I maintained a demand support items and layettes cage of over $5 million using Microsoft Excel. My core competencies include electrical troubleshooting, quality control, organization, and time management. I am passionate about providing reliable and efficient service to the customers and the company. My goal is to leverage my skills and experience to deliver optimal results and grow as a diesel technician.
