Job Duties/Responsibilities • Primary safety leader for team and build an organization where personal safety is the first priority. • Ensure to create a safety culture/values alignment with all contractors we utilize through the established contractor management process. • Enforces all MOC safety and administrative policies, procedures, and contract agreements. • Ensures jobs are performed in accordance with Marathon engineering specifications and management of change process. • Proficient and knowledgeable with Orifice, Ultrasonic, Coriolis, and Turbine of measurement systems. • Working knowledge of Emerson Control equipment • Ability to read and understand P & ID’s, wiring diagrams, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides. • Understanding of API guidelines and standards as well as Texas and Federal measurement regulations. • Review, understand and apply all measurement policies and standard operating policies. • Manage and develop strategies to ensure compliance with Marathon, State, and Federal measurement requirements and regulations (Witnessing, Proving, Calibration, etc.). • Assists in planning and scheduling of all meter construction, calibrations, proving, sampling, maintenance and repair activities. • Supervise and direct measurement technicians to ensure assigned activities are completed on schedule. • Mentor new hires on measurement, software, general facility processes and basic field operations. • Participate in project engineering design reviews and safety evaluations. • Collaborate with other teams, such as Production, FlowCal, and Production Data Management, in investigating metering issues causing any imbalance throughout all Texas locations. • Collaborate with the Maintenance & Construction teams on all capital and expense jobs to ensure all jobs will meet the required budgets and timelines.
