Passionate and driven Customs Trade Compliance Specialist seeking new opportunities in the Customs and Supply chain industry. My goal is to ensure Trade Compliance with Customs regulations while maximizing efficiencies. I am passionate about staying up to date with industry regulations and continuously improving my skills and knowledge. I am well-versed in the Customs Act and D-Memo’s as I understand the rules and regulations required by CBSA. I have knowledge and experience with the implementation of CARM and the new electronic Commercial Accounting Declaration (CAD) which replaces the current B2 and B3 forms, which has further solidified my commitment to the industry. In addition to my on-the-job training, I was provided access to the 2022 CSCB CCS course modules, which allowed me to further develop my knowledge of the Customs industry and grow my career in the field. My ability to quickly adapt to changes and stay current with industry trends has allowed me to effectively communicate and provide timely and accurate information. In my current role, I gained skills and experience with various types of B2 corrections, CUSMA, CARM, SIMA, data entry, data processing, post-entry review, and administrative assistance. I am confident in my ability to identify discrepancies, update databases with relevant information, and gather and email appropriate Customs data. I am now looking to build on my experience and take the next step in my career within the Customs and Supply Chain industry. I am seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge, grow as a professional, and contribute my expertise to a dynamic organization, where I can continue to grow and make a meaningful impact. I am confident in my ability to provide effective and efficient solutions to complex Customs and Compliance challenges and am excited to explore new opportunities in this industry.
