About Matthew Randall

Commencing at Airservices in 2013 through their 2 year in-house Traineeship Program, where I studied at a fast-tracked full-time capacity, I graduated with a Certificate in Electrotechnology and a Diploma of Electrical Engineering. Secondary to this, I was awarded the prestigious Alastair Hodgson Award of Technical Excellence for my dedication to study and overall commitment to the program. Post the Traineeship Program, I was posted to the Melbourne depot (the largest of Airsevices'), where I have since been located. During this time I expanded my knowledge on the variously aged and technical infrastructure which supplies the National Airways System to provide Air Traffic Control and Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting. My role has involved conducting, managing and planning multiple maintenance and project activities on critical infrastructure to a high standard and ensuring that all internal/external regulatory requirements are upheld. Other duties that I have performed throughout my time include- Providing assistance to interstate centres- Secondments to our internal engineering department- Stepping into senior positions at both a Technical Specialist and Team Leader capacity.
