About Matthew Reed

Hello! My name is Matthew and I have a bachelors in environmental science w/ a concentration in wildlife conservation bio. I also have 1 year of educational experience towards a masters degree in public health. My research interests focus on human-animal interactions and what we can do to better protect humans and animals. Career goals include working with state/gov departments, non-profits, entering academia, environmental consulting, and working on the field with both animal and human populations. During my time as an undergrad I gained notable experience during two interships at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The first internship included working on a research project that aimed to develop reference ranges of an assay test for patients based on trimester. The second internship included working on process improvement and aimed to try and relocate a hazordous storage area within the lab. During my time as an undergraduate I also gained experience through notable coursework such as: Biological Modeling, People Places and Plagues, Independent Study (Research), and Environmental Ethics.
