About Matthew Riley

After four years in the restaurant industry I have learnt great team-working capabilities as well as a great ability to communicate with my team. I have worked both as a waiter and in the kitchen. After exploring both sides I progressed into management where I now count stock, complete orders for my store and schedule people shifts as well as manage staff and deal with complaints effectively. I also write the management communications to my team where I analyse information and find solutions to downward trends in the store. One of my best skills is being able to approach any scenario and use my initiative to find answers to complex questions. I am also great at being able to intake information and weigh up the best approach to difficult scenarios. I am also a very relate-able person who can talk to anybody and hold a discussion. Another thing I'm great at is articulating my thoughts to people and making it easy to understand, I have used this to help colleagues find room for improvement as well as things to use more often in their work.
