About Matthew Rose

If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you". Growing up as the child of two parents serving in the Canadian Armed Forces meant constantly moving cities, meeting new people, and learning more about myself. I never knew what it was like to grow up with the same friends from Kindergarten through to High School or establish roots within a single community. Yet, despite the downsides of life as a Military Brat, I was able to learn more about who Matthew Rose is, hone my networking skills, and learn from my time spent in different places meeting a wide, diverse range of people. I take great pride in my passion for learning - as evidenced by my completion of a Bachelor of Sport Management degree with first-class standing and a minor in Labour Studies from Brock University. As of September 2022, I'm thrilled to be pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of Wisconsin Law School. And, while moving to another country may seem like a daunting challenge, my history of facing adversity head-on with an open mind towards learning has me excited for all that is to come. In my spare time, you can certainly find me playing or enjoying sports with family and friends. When I'm freezing inside a hockey arena (because which Canadian doesn't love hockey?), you'll probably find me sitting down in a chair somewhere reading a book to see what else there is for me to learn. I'm a firm believer that there is always something to be learned from everyone you meet - so please don't hesitate in sending that request to connect!
