About Matthew Sabine

I have over 20 years of experience working in the Environmental Management field. Currently, I work as a EHS Manager for Stellantis managing all aspects of environmental safety for two manufacturing facilities. I manage an efficient team driving continuous improvement in EHS reducing KPI's, decreasing environmental load, enhancing employee wellbeing, while maintaining compliance to all applicable regulations. Prior to being an EHS Manager I launched Tipton Transmission Plant as an Environmental Specialist. During launch I implemented and managed all environmental permits (RCRA, SWP3, SPCC, NPEDS, CAA) successfully. I implemented benchmark KPI's for waste generation, waste recovery, water withdrawl, and energy consumption, with a glide path to Net Zero/Net Positive. During this time I was recognized for leading all of North America manufacturing in the Green Factory KPI. I also implemented the facilities ISO 14K ISO system with zero non-conformances and assisted in the launch of ISO 50K & 45K.Previously, I was an Environmental Specialist for the Kokomo Casting Plant, managing all aspects of environmental and was one of the first foundries to achieve Zero Waste to Landfill status. in North America. I also have environmental compliance auditing experience, ISO auditing experience, significant resource conservation projects along with cost savings while maintaining impeccable compliance adherence.
