Background

About Matthew Salisbury

I am a proud U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran who served honorably for six years. My desire to succeed and lead others was implanted during those years and fine-tuned through twenty-seven years of public service. I am currently a law enforcement professional preparing for the next chapter in my life. During the course of my twenty-five years with the RI State Police I have sought to bring my skill set to the various units I've served in to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the agency. I hold an M.S. Degree in Homeland Security and Administration of Justice and a Certified Fraud Examiner designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. I am a member of the Lions Clubs International and have served as President of my local Lions Club for three years. I sit on the Board of Trustees for a privately-owned school that provides specialized programming and services to juveniles with social, emotional, behavioral and learning needs. I believe in volunteerism that benefits those in need of assistance. I'm searching for an opportunity where I can share my experiences and education, where I can manage and/or teach others how to work toward a common goal through teamwork and dedication.
