About Matthew Sampson

I'm Matthew Sampson, a soon-to-be Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, my journey has been fueled by a passion for understanding the connection between exercise physiology, human health, and rehabilitation. Having gone through a debilitating injury in my youth, I am able to fully appreciate the importance of whole-body health and have a new found understanding in pain management and chronic conditions.My professional journey during my undergraduate years has been enriched by hands-on scientific research experiences at the Korey Stringer Institute, allowing me to delve into the intricacies of exercise and athletic performance.Exploring avenues for innovation in medical product development is also a space where my interests converge, and I am driven by the belief that breakthroughs in this arena can redefine the future of patient care. As I transition from academia to practice, I am eager to channel my diverse skill set into meaningful contributions within the dynamic landscape of biotechnology, and to push the boundaries for healthcare.
