About Matthew Scher

In-depth wealth and risk management strategies for busy people with fluid lives. Matt has an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, as well as a B.S. degree in economics from the U.S. Naval Academy. Matt joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2002. He began his financial services career in 1997, working for T. Rowe Price Associates in Baltimore, where Matt focused on high net worth investors. Additionally, Matt managed ecommerce partnerships for drugstore.com and served as a Supply Officer in the U.S. Navy. Matt serves on the Board of the Bellevue Schools Foundation because he cares about kids and their quality of education in our public schools. He also interviews area candidates for the U.S. Naval Academy. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, cooking, travel, and skiing.
