About Matthew Schuler
Over the past two years, I have had the honor to work very closely with the youth in the community of Bassett Unified School District as both a certificated Substitute Teacher and Sports Coach. These past two years have been by far the most fulfilling years of my life and I would wish nothing more than to continue my involvement and impact both as a educator and coach in a student-first district of high standard and expectations. Though well versed in multiple subjects, I am diligently pursuing my Single Subject Credential in Physical Education given my background as a former athlete and my role as a current coach. As a Substitute Teacher, I have covered a wide range of classrooms from K-12, including two long term assignments of 2 and 6 months. Please consider me for any long term assignments or emergency credential positions that may arise throughout the school year as I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to get my foot in the door and gain as much hands on experience as possible.
