About Matthew Sclar

I graduated from Duke University in May 2021 with a bachelors of science in computer science and minors in chemistry and Spanish. In March 2020, I co-founded an application known as Woto. Woto is an office hours management tool that seeks to solve the overcrowding of office hours at Duke and other universities. We recently launched our application in a Duke web development course that has over 100+ students. Aside from my leading frontend role on Woto, I completed a hands-on internship at ERMProtect Cybersecurity Solutions during the summer of 2019. During my time there, I learned to adapt and develop skills quickly as I dove into the cybersecurity field for the first time, running network and web application penetration tests for clients among other duties. I also took advantage of my coding skills to become part of a development team at ERM working on Stingray, their new fully automatic phishing simulation tool that launched later that year.
