About Matthew Sickerdick

I made the decision to change careers in 2019, guided from my own experience with Physiotherapists and my own rehabilitation. I wanted to pursue a career in helping others, to assist in enhancing quality of life, achieving goals and improving mobility and functional capacity. I gained a variety of experience from allowing others to achieve their goals and improvement of mobility and function. I gained a variety of experience from my undergraduate Physiotherapy degree at UniSA and developed keen interests in neuroscience, neurological rehabilitation and research. I am now fortunate to be working at Enable Fitness Centre as a Physiotherapist, providing rehabilitation land-based and hydrotherapy interventions to a range of clients with neurological, neuromuscular, amputee, ASD and ID conditions; enhancing their QOL and achieving their goals! I have previously worked for ten years as a Fitter and Turner with five years contributing to the oil and gas, mining, renewables and manufacturing industries throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific Region.
