About Matthew Skowronek
Technology is an important component of society, especially in the aviation and aerospace industries. However, arguably, the interaction between humans and this technology is more important. As a Human Factors Engineer, I strive to push the boundaries between technological advances and human limitations to make a more sustainable, safe, and effective working environment in the aerospace industry. My goal is to work closely with engineers, designers, and consumers to enhance the technological boundaries between it and man. Currently, I am at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University studying human factors engineering. I have worked as a manufacturing technician and intern engineer solving problems, testing different methods of production, using CNC lathes and vertical milling machines. I also have done work in SolidWorks and Catia V5, Aery 32, Excel, and FloMaster. I also have published a level engineering calculation with General Dynamics Electric Boat. I have some experience in welding and metal fabrication.
