About Matthew Smiley

My key objective is to enhance my career in sales and improve the company's success by meeting and exceeding the set targets by fully utilizing my skills and expertise. I started working in education as a kindergarten and elementary teacher in the early years of my career. From these experiences, I have possessed many skills such as exercising patience, paying keen attention to each student's attitude and behavior, and creating strategies that will help students learn the materials being delivered. By doing this I have developed the skill of paying keen attention to details, being professional, and exercising flexibility. In May 2018, I made a shift in my career and was employed at Carahsoft as a Cyber Security Sales Associate, by which I developed my passion for sales. With proper training, working with a team of experts, and my added expertise the company has always been meeting and exceeding its target at the end of each fiscal year. I have adapted to working in various work environments over the years and respond well to changes. Currently, I work in a remote environment which is an excellent balance of work life and family. I am trainable and I get along with my team. I am open to future opportunities because I consistently seek growth and success in my career. if given such opportunities, I will not hesitate to work diligently by displaying an excellent work ethic.
