About Matthew Spurr

From competitive sportsman, into being a languages graduate, poker pro, proprietary commodities trader, and then on to starting my own businesses. My career has required me to be a self-starting entrepreneur in the extreme. Plenty of failed attempts at startups that go unpublished on LinkedIn have provided decades worth of valuable lessons beyond my years, for what has been an experience-filled 15 years of business to date (2025). Largely, I have focused on product management, digital marketing, branding, software and team management. I have adopted the roles of CMO, project manager, salesperson, strategist, content creator, PR director and shareholder relations (the list goes on).Thankfully, the risky path of entrepreneurship has been more generous to me than it has cruel, and speckled with good wins throughout, I've also been fortunate enough to have worked with some wonderful people who have taught me so much and made each challenge so much more enjoyable to conquer together. I am passionate about my charitable endeavours outside of work, I have been plugged into the financial markets pretty much daily since 2011, and I enjoy keeping as fit as I can through triathlons and golf (yes, golfers can be fit, honest!)
