About Matthew Stackhouse
I am a PhD candidate in the Sociology department at Western University. My work broadly focuses on three key areas:(1) population health and health behaviours,(2) the life course, and (3) relationships and intergenerational processes. I employ longitudinal and cross-sectional data in both Canada and the United States. As a social science researcher, my goal is to produce evidence-based research that informs social policies for population health and well-being, and for future research that tries to navigate the complexity of health development over the life course.
