About Matthew Stam

I work as a Project Manager focused on municipal infrastructure and regulatory compliance within the Ontario public sector. My role involves coordinating and managing complex projects—ranging from roads and bridges to essential water and wastewater infrastructure—from the initial planning stages through to completion. A key part of my work is cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring new projects align with the County's Design Objectives and comply with the Planning Act and other key provincial legislation, including the Municipal Act and Safe Drinking Water Act. I manage all aspects of project delivery, including procurement, detailed contract administration, and the preparation of reports for Council's review. I also contribute to important long-term initiatives, such as implementing the Integrated Sustainable Master Plan and reviewing road safety programs, always aiming to support sustainable development and effective public service.
