He cut his teeth automating engineering models in Excel with VBA in the energy sector, and has a background in full stack web development, data engineering, DevOps, and Linux systems administration. Matthew is focused on honing his programming skills and growing his experience with containerization and distributed build systems. Matthew has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Mount Royal University, where he pursued a Minor in Mathematics to scratch his problem-solving itch and deepen his appreciation in the elegance of mathematics.
