About Matthew Stoller

I am an experienced leader in technical sales and systems engineering. I've worked as a pre-sales engineering and then as a leader in building pre-sales organizations in the the data storage, data protection, data archiving and video surveillance markets. I have a passion for delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs and challenges of customers and partners, and a vision for driving growth and excellence in the pre-sales engineering teams. Most recently, I've worked as an Area Director at Quantum, a leading provider of data storage and management solutions. In my most recent role, I managed two separate pre-sales engineering teams. The first team covered the U.S. Federal Government and related agencies, integrators and partners. The second team covered the world-wide Video Surveillance and Physical Security market. I was responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and reviewing the pre-sales engineers, as well as working closely with product management, marketing, sales, and service teams to develop and implement pre-sales strategies, tools, and presentations. I also leveraged my skills in OEM negotiations, strategic partnerships, public speaking, and troubleshooting to contribute to new business development and customer satisfaction.
