Recently, I took a leap and launched my own business: Riveting Resumes, a professional writing service born from both personal experience and a deep passion for helping others. After going through a reduction in force (RIF), I experienced the emotional and professional toll of job loss firsthand—the questions, the stress, the challenge of representing myself on paper while figuring out what came next. Through that period, I uncovered a strength: I had a real talent for crafting compelling, strategic resumes—not just for myself, but for friends and colleagues, too. I loved helping others tell their stories, highlight their strengths, and move forward with renewed confidence. I founded Riveting Resumes because I recognized a growing need: people deserve support and clarity during uncertain times, and powerful, tailored career documents can make all the difference. Now based in Salt Lake City, I provide resume writing, cover letters, and LinkedIn optimization services to clients ready to take the next step in their careers. I also recently earned my Bachelor of Applied Science in Strategic Communication from the University of Utah, where I was named to the Dean’s List three times.
