About Matthew Sullivan

As the COO and General Manager of Grapids Irrigation, I oversee the development and overall performance of a small to midsize company that provides irrigation and lighting solutions for residential and commercial customers. I have a lean office certification from the University of Michigan and apply the principles of continuous improvement, waste reduction, and customer value to every aspect of our operations. I have a passion for developing people and high performing teams, and a gift for building long-term relationships that result in progressive growth in sales and healthy margins. I have 6+ years of experience in leadership and staff development, general management, marketing, strategic planning, sales and customer service across multiple industries. I am adept at monitoring budgets, balancing the scales of providing the tools needed to operate while delivering greater than expected ROI. I am also a volunteer DJ and on-air programmer at a local community radio station, where I use my skills in communication, creativity, and studio production. My mission is to help people and their organizations succeed by keeping things simple, effective, and enjoyable.
