About Matthew Tarnovsky

As a Cyber Operations Specialist at US Army, I conduct defensive cyber operations to protect and defend the Army's networks and systems. I use my creative problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and to ensure the security and integrity of the Army's data and information. I have an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology (networking) from Purdue University Global, and I hold multiple CompTIA and Google certifications in security, network, and automation. I am proficient in programming concepts and various scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash. I am motivated by the challenge and the opportunity to apply my technical knowledge and skills to support the Army's mission and vision.
